Michael Paul Miller received a B.F.A. in Painting and Graphic Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and a M.A. and M.F.A. in Painting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Miller currently works in his studio in Port Angeles, WA, where he is an Associate Professor of Art at Peninsula College. Academic Awards/Honors include the Peninsula College Sabbatical Award, Exceptional Faculty Award, and the Chancellor's Merritt Award for Art. Miller's paintings have been exhibited in noteworthy galleries and museums across the United States including the Museum of Northwest Art, Bainbridge Island Museum of Art, Coos Art Museum, and the Museum of Wisconsin Art. His works were selected for publications that include The Seattle Times, Fine Art Connoisseur’s Fine Art Today, art ltd., and Studio Visit Magazine. His awards include a GAP Award from Artist Trust, Best Artwork in Crosscurrents, and Second Place in the Washington state juried CVG Show.
